Downloadable pack of Avatars for web/psd mock-ups

Today I started work needing some avatars to add to some Photoshop comps I am working on. There didn’t appear to be a pack of avatars available for download that people had consented to be a part of, so I set about making one.

I collated it throughout the day, and it’s now available for you to download. Everyone within the pack has consented, within reason i.e. please be sensible, realise you are using the face of a real person (of course!) and don’t use them on anything controversial, or anything that will cause distress or defamation to their character.

If someone wants to reduce the file sizes for me, that would be fabulous. I’ve simply batch processed everything, entirely usable but I’m sure could be smaller.

Enjoy!

    Sarah,
thanks for the pack – will come in very handy…
and wow, quite a difference in number for the boys and the girls. Thought there would be but not quite as extreme.

    Thanks again ;)
& I loved the note, lovely.

    Thank ye’ muchly *tips hat*

Just opened, wow it’s loads of people, I thought (can’t say why) it was going to be various generic vector shapes (similar to the default Facebook). Oh well, kudos to them folks for the permission. I’m assuming they are all cool with this now though, right?

Yep – everyone who submitted did so via email consenting to use. We’ve just hit 1000 downloads so I’m guessing there was a need for a pack like this, aside from just me!

This is fantastic! Just what I need.

Can you imagine this as a photoshop pattern that filled in a selected area with random faces. I would like that :)

    Sarah,

Thank you and everyone involved for a great resource. One question though is this ok to be used for a mock page to sell a theme on another web site?

    thanks,

    Sul
