Hi Sarah, Appcelerator could possibly help with the iPhone Dev goal. I discovered them last week and mocked up my first app right away.

Looking forward to reading about 2010!

Good post. Interested in the way you have changed your billing from hourly to half-daily/daily/weekly. How do you deal with those small jobs that take less time than this? Particularly if the job cannot wait until half a day of work has accumulated?

I completely agree with your comments about the telephone problem!

It can be very difficult to get back "in the zone" if you have interruptions while designing. Can I ask how you've gone about reducing this? Was it simply reducing the hours your telephone is switched on or is there another way you've done this?

I'm very keen to reduce the time spent on the phone and in meetings in 2010 but I've struggled to find a good balance.

Thanks Sarah & best wishes for 2010!

I've been thinking many many things through too. I might post a link later when I post them. Good list though, quite inspirational. Thank you.

I made the switch to Freshbooks this past year and use it conjunction with Xero. Couldn't be happier. While I agree that a big red overdue button would be helpful, I have to say that I am very fond of Freshbooks configurable, automated Late Payment Reminders.

It is also the only invoicing app I found that makes it very easy and inexpensive to manage contractor time/invoicing ... keep this in mind as you "grow" in 2010 - May be worth a reconsider.

Cheers, and happy New Year!

I'm down to the wire working on my ideas for 2010 — some great ideas though! Best of luck, congratulations again on the engagement and a Happy New Year!
